0610 - Yesterday

No clue what this it, just saw it and was like “what a banger of a title that is!” and put it on the list. No, honest, no clue what it is at all. Tell you what, I’ll wiki it right now. Hold on. Right. Soooo, its…not on Wikipedia. That bodes well. To Google then, and its…a show about the industrial revolution. Ah man, thats a shame. That title would make a banger of a cop show. Ignore that one!
1310 - 5

If you’re after a top quality World War II Movie Double Bill, then here you go. Dam Busters is a bit more strait-laced than the second film, Where Eagles Dare is much more of a Boys Own action take on the war film. But thats great, and is why they work as a double bill. And it counts towards your daily Clint!
1415 - Film4

Another good afternoon of films here from Film4, the highlight is probably Zorro. Honestly, its brilliant but has been pretty much forgotten; it came out at the height of the summer, but was overwhelmed by There’s Something About Mary of all things. Its still a great film, directed by Martin Campbell fresh off the success of GoldenEye with a great turn in the lead by Antonio Banderas. If you can only make one of these films, make this one
1450 - BBC2

Now, these may look like two separate things to watch but they’re really a double bill but had to be two screenshots as they were split over two sides of the page so take it up with the Radio Times. Anyways, its another Agatha Christie double bill, not the best examples of either Marple or Poirot but still a great way to spend the afternoon
1550 - BBC!

Brilliant film this, which I think everyone knows by now? A great cast, great score and a great concept that still stands up. Hearing the proton packs switching on is still one of those things that gives me goosebumps
2100 - 5 Action

And there we go! Our final Clint of the day, with the last of the Dirty Harry films. We come this far, right? May as well get them all watched.
2100 - BBC1

More Agatha Christie! Don’t think I’ve seen any previous versions of this (if there have been any) so looking forward to this. And if it gets a bit too bleak then after you have a show about French and Saunders so that should lighten the mood
2100 - Legend

This one is on here just because I have a lot of questions about how you accidentally ingest human flesh, but I guess we’ll find out how that happens soon enough
2200 - Channel 4

A nice double bill here; a caper film from Steven Spielberg and Leonardo DiCaprio about a conman going about conning folk, and then The Most Man Punchiest Of All Man Punching Films Ever with Predator. That works right? The thematic through lines between the two films are pretty clear, I don’t need to explain them right? Excellent.
2250 - BBC4

A true television classic from Dennis Potter, something that you can’t really believe was made by the BBC in the 80s. Essential viewing if we’re honest.
