Another of Disney’s great run of films which are totally better than the Disney Renaissance of the early 90s. Yeah, thats right, I said it, I’ll totally die on that hill. Only I won’t die, I’ll win because Tangled is the best Disney film so thats already better then the early 90s output then you have a film like this which is really good as well. See? That hill is totally defendable

Well this looks fun, a whole heap of shows from the Rat Pack; what a group of talent that was, and you should hopefully see that in these clip shows
1845 - Channel 4

Is this a perfect film? I’d say so, top to bottom its a group of people working at the height of their skill delivering one of the definitive adventure films. Last Crusade though is just as good and made like 8 years later, the people making these films were really properly good at their jobs and no mistake

The best sequel? I mean, its up there, especially considering the first film is a classic so making a sequel was always going to be tricky at best. And yet, here we are looking at two five star films in a row. Madness. You can stay tuned for some more Scorsese goodness, I do find it a bit problematic in places, mainly with how much the film likes the main characters who are clearly massive pricks but made to be cool pricks which isn’t ideal
0045 - Talking Picture

A cracking sc-fi film of the 80s, one that might be a bit too obviously with its message at time but the fact that its wrapped up in aliens and space battles makes it a great watch
0135 - Great Movies

The film that launched a thousand synth-pop albums, it still works as a hard boiled genre thriller even before you layer on the 80s style that went on to be massively influencial
0155 - Film4

Bit of late night spooky horror for you. This one might actually be the best King Adaptation (excluding films set in prisons) thinking about it, its not ageing too badly and still retains that shock value when you get to the final reel
